Warm, sunny weather. There's lots to do, but let's just sit in a deckchair in the garden and enjoy it while it lasts.
I always buy a seed packet of the annual cosmos 'Purity' and this year for the first time found a double petaled variety. It looks lovely and is performing well. Another plant to add to my list of favourites.
Hooray for summer! Looks like you have some great sunny days still ahead so relax and soak in all that beauty. I like to wander around my garden after a day of weeding with a glass of wine or a mug of tea...it helps keep me inspired.
I guess you should know that you and your husband are mentioned on my blog today (and yes, I "stole" one picture but with all the credits). Hope you won't mind...
I live with Himself (husband) in the coastal town of Bournemouth in the South-West of England.

Your garden looks the perfect place to relax in a deckchair. It is so lovely to fling open the doors and windows and make the most of it - enjoy.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for your summer :)

Dear Hostess, We've had a deluge since I wrote the above - the plants in the garden loved it, but I'm back to wearing a woolie!
ReplyDeleteDear Rosemary, I love outdoor summer living, but it seems that we are going to have to just snatch it when we can this year.
Dear Bozena, Your raspberries look delicious, and thankyou from Peter for giving his carving an airing in Poland - we don't mind a bit!
These photos of your garden are a respite for tired eyes....thank-you!
ReplyDelete(Here is Seattle, we have also just come into summer weather after rain, rain, rain. Everything is lush and green still, and I've no complaints.)
Thank you for stopping by my blog.
I just always adore your garden pictures...what a perfect time of the year!
ReplyDeleteDear T. Clear, I am so pleased to have found you - although there was no need for you to send over the Seattle rain!
ReplyDeleteMe ke aloha pumehana, Connie Lou!
