My valentine bouquet of roses is still blooming. I change the water regularly and while doing so I also cut a bit off the flower stems. It seems to do the trick.
The dining room is dark so we made the most of it by painting the walls a deep green. I once saw a study where the walls were covered with green felt and that was the sort of look that I wanted.
I live with Himself (husband) in the coastal town of Bournemouth in the South-West of England.

A big bouquet of flowers is such a treat in the winter time.
DeleteLove your colourful wall, so rich against the gold and red. It's sweet that you get fleurs for Valentine!
