Woke this morning and the sun was shining, no wind blowing, no rain. Forgetting other plans, we went down through the tropical gardens to walk on the beach.
There is something about coastal light that is very uplifting to the spirit. We are ten minutes by car from the beach, still a novelty for us after a lifetime of being landlubbers.
I live with Himself (husband) in the coastal town of Bournemouth in the South-West of England.
