Just time between the showers for a short walk. Slithery mud underfoot makes for tricky walking, but even so it's good to be out in the fresh air.
There is still a lot of green,
with only a little autumn colour creeping in.
Just got home before the next bout of rainfall!
You took some lovely pictures, Rosemary.
ReplyDeleteIt was good to be outside, Maybe. I get cabin fever when I'm confined to the house!

DeleteYou live in the most beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteparsnip
We do appreciate the area where we live, with countryside around us but the beautiful city of bath quite close at hand.
DeleteDefinitely a path for wellies!
ReplyDeleteAs you have seen in my latest pictures, there was/is still a lot of green around here, too, but by now autumn is very visibly at its peak, or maybe even slightly past it already.
Oh, it was, we had to watch our step.
DeleteNot a very good autumn for colour this year, there has been too much strong wind and rain.
Good thing you had a break in the rain for some time with nature!!
ReplyDeleteYes, a much appreciated slither through the woods!
DeleteThanks for sharing your walk. Wet leaves, mud, and a river..those are the best elements for a walk.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer crisp, dry leaves, Susan, and no mud! The fishing pond is always lovely, however, no matter what the weather brings.
