a few shop bought flowers and some greenery from the garden
and the orchid minus one flower - only one! I've moved it out of of the dining room and direct sunshine and hope that it will be better suited in its new position.
Oh, the orchids and dish of figs (or are those little pears?) and the lovely view out the window — all so sweet. It's so gray here at this time, with a forecast of quite a dumping of snow to come. I want to just stay here and stare out that window.
Beautiful flowers...i love the simple arangement, so pure and country chic style. My favorite is the orchid one, i have one pot in my living room, seeing it makes me happy all the time.
This is my first ever orchid and I'm amazed how long the flowers are lasting. I had sited it in the worst possible place before, on a south facing window above a radiator. I think it will be happier facing east.
I live with Himself (husband) in the coastal town of Bournemouth in the South-West of England.

Always lovely to see you and your lovely home.
ReplyDeleteI keep my orchids in the loo and the combo of bright indirect light and humidity make for one long blooming plant.
Can you almost feel the spring?

ReplyDeleteAh, but your dress is very flower-power! I've started to post my clothes on Miss Cellany for Visible Mondays.

ReplyDeleteHello Sharon, they are little pears and they taste delicious, not many left! You'll notice that it was a little grey out of my window as well.
