British Summer Time. Brrr

We've had some beautiful weather lately. Unfortunately I missed it, succumbing, after two years of being VERY careful, to Covid. Horrid. No fun for a gardener to be stuck in bed when the sun is shining! Now I'm on the mend and the temperature outside is positively arctic, it's not even comfortable to be pottering in the greenhouse. I've just been in there to take a look at my emerging seedlings Something is eating the  corn shoots. Curses.

It's crammed with stuff in the greenhouse. I'm waiting for the auriculas to flower and have potted on a good number of plants from the delphinium seed that I sowed last autumn. No space to do anything else until I'm able to put some things outside. I've got trays of beans, peas and mangetout all waiting for warmer weather.

The garden is full of colour now.

I've brought some of the wind blown daffodils into the house.

  2. Oh no! Sorry to hear you caught Covid. I hear similar all around - so many I know who have been extremely cautious for the past two years have now caught it, too. Seems like the Omicron variety simply sweeps through populations, regardless of them having all their jabs, wearing masks, disinfecting their hands and so on.
Hopefully, you will soon be able to get out again, working in your beautiful garden! The pictures are gorgeous, as always.
We're in for a cold spell now, too, after March was the sunniest one on record (and we really, really need rain).

    1. The cold weather is still with us - I'm more than ready for a bit of warmth, having been tucked up in bed throughout the recent good spell!

  4. Oh drat, how annoying to be struck down during all the warm weather we've been having! Super glad that you are on the mend though. Your greenhouse is looking most intriguing, and your garden full of spring joy. Lulu xXx

  5. Oh, no, you missed the glorious sunny window! Last I saw you were all rugged up at the beach, so I guess that's your also gardening gear for a while yet :) Glad to hear you're over the worst.

  7. I know many thing could have gone wrong this past few days investing online and getting scammed. I was also in your shoes when I invested into a fake binary option where I got scammed of $3000 of BTC but thanks to the help of cchacker0002@gmail.com . They assisted me in recovering back my scammed BTC. I initially didn’t trust them but I was referred by a friend who I trust well. I was able to get my refund within the space of two weeks. Thanks to cchacker0002@gmail.com
