I was rather disappointed, Tom. By the time the moon had risen above my horizon it looked no more than 10% larger and not the big, swollen affair that I was hoping for. Photos on tv were far more impressive. There was a wonderful one of a HUGE moon looming over Glastonbury Tor.Delete
Rosemary, I thought it was tonight.ReplyDelete
My life can be a bit like that too, Donna!Delete
Beautiful! :) It's snowing madly tonight so the moon was not visible at all, but I still feel the energy! :)ReplyDelete
My moon didn't look very big, but I did have the added bonus of hearing an owl hooting!Delete
Too cloudy to see here in Illinois so glad to see your photos. "Once in a Blue Moon" was a favorite saying of my mothers.ReplyDelete
Yes, that was a saying in our house as well.Delete
Even though it is cloudy here, we did get to see that bright Blue Moon. We have a skylight in our bathroom, and the whole room was lit up.ReplyDelete
Great pictures, Rosemary.
A warm bath to soak in while gazing at the moon. Sounds good!Delete
Wonderful photos ! Love #1 and #2 outstanding.ReplyDelete
I took a few early evening photos but they are just OK.
cheers, parsnip and mandibles
I love the sight of the moon and often wander round the garden in the moonlight. It features quite often in the paintings and carvings that Himself makes.Delete
