This is the view down the garden path, spring flowers out but no sign yet of any leaf on the horse chestnut tree and the newly thinned walnut tree.
In the greenhouse the tree peony is just coming into flower
and the first early peas are growing in the Waitrose paper cups.
All that green and hooray for sunshine.
ReplyDeleteIt's promising!
DeleteI absolutely love that shot of the garden path with the gate. So beautiful. You are considerably earlier than us here in Ontario. No daffodils here, yet. -Jenn
ReplyDeleteSunshine is so transforming - and fleeting, here in Blighty! But we are definitely in the full burst of spring now with everything greening up after what seemed to be a very long winter.
DeleteBeautiful photos Rosemary! :) You have a nice home, everything looks so cozy.
ReplyDeleteTruth be told, Rain, everything is looking a bit shabby in our home. I fool myself it's 'shabby-chic'!
DeleteI have such envy right now, searing garden envy, but no worries, I will turn it all into hard work on this ugly poor farm of ours. It took twenty years to whip our old farm into shape so I'll just have to be more patient. What an inspiration you are to those of us who desire, more beautiful spaces.
ReplyDeleteI'm better at gardening than tidying up the house, Donna, but even so the weeds are winning. I'm a peasant really, happy with my hands in the earth.
DeleteYou are making beautiful spaces on paper just now, I'm sure the farm will bloom in time.
