Grey skies

I'm sorry Skywatchers, but sometimes here in Blighty there's nothing to see but a big grey sky, flat, dull and cold.
I searched for a flight of birds, any sort of action to provide a bit of lift.
Nada.
Mist and morning frost.
No gardening for me today.
There's nothing much left to eat from the veg garden, just a couple of rows of parsnip and leeks. I've been turning over the ground and the frost will break the soil nicely but it will have to warm up considerably before I can plant.
For now it's just a waiting game.

  5. We get three days of sunny and warm before the rain returns. Along with the sun we get wind strong enough to knock this old poop off his feet.

    1. Yes, we've been having such bitter east winds blowing. No shelter from them in our garden, I've just been hunkered down inside.

    1. Yes, that's the view from our bedroom window. When we first looked round the house prior to purchase we both just looked out of the window instead of studying the room!
