The first two pictures were taken from the car window as we drove through the Dales and the other two tarn from my kitchen window. I didn't venture outside, it was cold and wet!
Yes, the number of rainbows was unusual. They were complete arcs in strong colours, some of them with a faint after image as you can see on the second photo.
I didn't know that a rainbow was a sign of good luck. They say that if you find the spot where the rainbow ends then you'll find a pot of gold, but I've never gone looking!

These photos give no idea of how flipping' cold, wet and windy it was. Ah, but you're right - wonderful as well.
