Woke this morning, sun shining, no plans to go anywhere, do anything much. All quiet, people in bed. Did my usual early potter round the garden. Looked at the thermometer, everything set fair. Madness in the world but today I have just enjoyed and appreciated the small stuff.
Very wise. I toobtook a potter about the gardens, and left the news turned off. I can't change what happened, although heaven knows I wish I could. The world has gone mad. Led of course by the USA's madman-in-chief.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a lovely peaceful oasis there. As Granny Sue said - very wise.
ReplyDeleteThose of us who have the opportunity to still enjoy life in spite of the madness are fortunate or blessed (depending on which way you like to see it), and I count myself among them.
ReplyDeleteJust enjoy the peace of your beautiful garden!! We actually had a day of rain and I hope my pumpkins will start galloping and green up the garden a little
ReplyDeleteThank heavens for gardens and plants and nature and a reminder that life can be lived normally.
ReplyDeleteSuch a calming and welcoming respite, a little peace in an otherwise chaotic world.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing.

Oh how beautiful your gardens are. And yes, amidst all the world's madness, just stick to yourself & your beautiful surroundings...and let the rest of the world go by. ~Andrea xoxo
