5pm skywatch

In spite of a great many overhead wires, the sunset, seen from the garden, looked wonderful.
Time to walk across the road and look at the colours reflected in the lake.
I disturbed five mallard ducks on the banking and they flew out across the water making loud noises of protestation.
And then everywhere was silent. 
And cold!

      Hello Eileen, I often think that there will be no decent-looking sky for Skywatch Friday. We seem to have been sunk in a blanket of dull,dark grey for months. But every now and then, for just a few moments, there is a fantastic blaze of colour like this!

      It is back to dull, dank and dreary, Bonnie but I'm just back from the shops with a special meal for Valentine's Day so, in spite of the weather, the weekend should be good!

      Oh, I'm with you. We had two days with some sunshine this week and it was so uplifting. Now it's back to dull, cold and wet!
