Sodden Skywatch

Another wet Friday, the ground is sodden, the sky is grey.
All the water barrels are full.
(They used to hold whisky!)

  1. Oh, it is wet! It's very wet here too. I hope sunny skies for us both soon. I love your silhouette photo #2.

    1. The second image is of the ridge of my greenhouse and shows my beloved fox-terrier, Maisie, chasing a hare and a pheasant.
Sunny skies are here today, hope it's the same for you!

The sihlouette is adoarble, especially the movement of the hare.

    1. There are no longer many hares to be seen. I think they are wonderful creatures and it is always a thrill when I spot one in the fields.
Maisie was a great chaser; it's nice to have the memory of her, still chasing, up on my roof.

  6. I'm looking at your blue skies and thinking, how lovely, and you're looking at my muddy, wet puddles. Nothing like a change of scenery! (I'll swop you.)

  7. We're soaking wet here, too, but our winter seems to be finally be over and a few daffs are bravely putting out blooms. I love the rooftop ornaments. :o)
