Mothering Sunday

I was thoroughly spoilt on Mothering Sunday; flowers, cards, chocolates and a delicious meal. Younger daughter, Wee One, came round in the morning and set to work in the kitchen. The whole household is usually with her, so it is especially nice when I have her all to myself. She went back home and collected them later when it was time to eat. She is a good and adventurous cook and made a meal from a book of Persian recipes.
It tasted delicious. (And there was enough left over for the following day!)
Iris and freezia flowers, colours that I love.
And a card that made me laugh.

  1. That meal looks and sounds delicious and I love the card. I see there are two Persiana recipe books and have just requested both from our Library.

    1. I'm a bit stuck in a rut with my cooking these days, there seems so much that we are not supposed to eat, conflicting information. I need to take lessons from Wee One!

    1. It was lovely, and, since we now live near to each other, very nice to have them push off when we are ready for a quiet time!

  4. Hi Rosemary, you were really treated! I love Fesenjan and crispy Persian rice. I had a lovely Persian friend who'd whip it up, and other delights, at occasional banquets - you'd hardly call them dinners! - for lucky friends.

    1. Hello, Pip, I haven't heard from you for a while and hope all is well. It is a VERY good idea to have friends who can whip up a banquet! You will see from my book club posting that by combining our efforts we come up with a feast. Sitting round a table with good friends is one of life's pleasures.

  5. I LOST $275,000 USD TO SCAMMER ON FACEBOOK

I’m one of those few people who invested in the cryptocurrency market and was hoping to make enough profits after my retirement. Unfortunately, I had invested in a platform that was out to steal from me, I lost around $275,000 to this platform excluding the promised profits. I had lost every penny I invested into it including the money I had to borrow from friends. I thought it was all over until I came across a Cryptocurrency recovery expert, jetwebhackers SERVICE, who helped me recover my money from these fake investors. It took jetwebhackers 72 hours to recover my money and I was able to track down these people. I’m truly grateful for their service and I highly recommend them to anyone with the same problem.
