Morning walk.

I woke to sunshine slanting through a morning mist. We had been threatened with an overnight frost but a clear blue sky meant a good day ahead and I walked to the lake in the hopes of catching some ethereal photos. I had obviously spent too long in bed because the sun had already burnt much of the mist away!

I can't complain about being in lockdown when I live in surroundings as beautiful as these.

  1. There is still enough mist left to make for very beautiful and atmospheric pictures. Gorgeous autumn colours, and the lake acting as a mirror - some of these would not look amiss framed on a wall!
I, too, am very grateful for being able to go out walking in beautiful surroundings. It is difficult during the week now with sunset happening just before 5:00 pm, but chances look good for a hike or long walk at the weekend.

    1. Dear Librarian, I hope this weekend provides suitable conditions for a good walk for you while there is still some colour to enjoy in the countryside.

    1. It certainly makes lockdown perfectly do-able, Susan, although I do miss seeing friends and family.

    1. It is always a lovely walk, but especially so at this time of year.

  4. Did you walk all the way? Some of the photos appear to have been shot in flight. Of course, how thick of me - you employ a drone.

    1. No drone, no flying, nor am I tall. (I thought I was, until my daughters fell about laughing at the thought.) Perhaps the photos appear so because I haven't used a foreground. Now that sky art tv is free to view I've been watching master of photography. It has great assignments and critical assessments.

  5. How wonderful. What a place to walk, I can't walk anymore but I still can look.

    1. Rain, it makes me so happy to read that you feel as though you are living in paradise. I remember when you were looking for a new home and having no luck. Well, hurrah, your patience was rewarded!

  7. I really want to thank Dr Emu for saving my marriage. My wife really treated me badly and left home for almost 3 month this got me sick and confused. Then I told my friend about how my wife has changed towards me. Then she told me to contact Dr Emu that he will help me bring back my wife and change her back to a good woman. I never believed in all this but I gave it a try. Dr Emu casted a spell of return of love on her, and my wife came back home for forgiveness and today we are happy again.
