We had Christmas shopping to do and I took a couple of photos from the car as we drove into town.
The sun was setting by the time we were ready to return home
but we stopped by the lake just before the sun went down.
By this time I felt as cold as the birds!
Another good day is forecast for tomorrow.
Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Had I not been thinking of an image for Skywatch Friday I dare say that we would have driven straight past the lake and not stopped.
DeleteBeautiful autumn photos. I especially like the lake at sunset!
ReplyDeleteIt was a lovely spot to be just before sunset - but I did get my feet wet walking through the grass to get the compositions that I was after!
DeleteMarvelous sky shots and beautiful colorful photography and love the moon ~ thanks for 'visiting' ~ love your work ~ carol, xxx
ReplyDeleteWe have so many dull, low-light days that the combination of some sunshine together with autumn colour is a treat.
DeleteWow, gorgeous series of photos. The sky and the Autumn trees are lovely. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eieen, we've had a happy weekend, a daughter and partner were home so it has been all eating and talking!
DeleteSuch sassy clouds! Love the vampire moon.
ReplyDeleteSassy - such a good word, and it fits YOU, Connie!
DeleteLovely sky photos - I seem to spend a lot of time looking skywards it changes by the minute.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a good time of year for clouds - when it's not raining, that is!
DeleteWhat would a sky be without trees that build a frame.
ReplyDelete:-)
Paula, you are back to blogging with a vengeance, great! I am smelling the coffee with you and looking round the exhibitions (I love Klimt but a great deal of modern art leaves me cold.)
DeleteWow, the autumn sky looks really lovely. Here in Switzerland winter has arrived, with its cold fingers and snow. Iiiiek... hope it won't stay too long.
ReplyDeleteWish you a cozy Sunday!
Alex
We are hanging on to autumn - just. It is cold. Tomorrow I'm going out with my camera while there are still a few leaves on the trees. Then I shall be like you and tuck up inside and concentrate on winter occupations. It's quite nice to close the curtains and have long evenings in which to do something (or nothing!)
DeleteBeautiful photos! I was in England in October and it was very beautiful. Autumn is my favorite season!
