Clear blue sky!
What a treat a bit of clear blue sky and sunshine is for us folk in Blighty, blossom fluffs up, new colours appear and the tulips go giddy!
I had a busy weekend on the allotment, clearing ground and planting seed. Before that we went to walk on the beach. Sand had blown on to the walkway and you can see from the footprints that plenty of people - and their dogs - had the same thought as us to be out in the sunshine walking by the sea.
There was a bit of tidying up and sorting out action going on in some of the beach huts ready for the season ahead.
Great excitement and plenty of beach walks to come as Wee One will be collecting a new puppy next weekend. I've told her to choose a name that none of us will feel embarrassed to shout! (I think she is going to be Mabel.)

ReplyDeleteLove your reason for finding a good name for the dog. You're right of course!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is so full of colour. I've bought a few flowers but am waiting for the sun to come out again before I plant.
Love the patterns on the sand. Those are very artistic photos
There is lots of amusement to be had watching dog owners calling to their dogs on the beach. "Good boy" doesn't cut it at all as the dogs chase off to do their own thing.
DeleteI'm in a planting frenzy, lots of veg seedlings pushing through, I'm hoping that a change in the weather won't scupper my efforts.
Shoe treads are so varied.
ReplyDeleteThe trouble with beach huts is that they have no running water and sanitation . . .
I covet a beach hut none the less!
DeleteLovely colour in your garden and a great assortment of footprints in the sand.
ReplyDeleteIt is all looking promising, but the blue sky has gone - and it's cold out!
DeleteThose Bellis Daisies are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteFootprints in the sand are varied. I can imagine the fun the dogs and owners were having.
The daisies are 'good doers', some from last year's planting and others newly bought.
DeleteLove the sand photos!
ReplyDeleteAnd your flowers, oh my. Such beauty already!
