    My Uncle liberated a concentration camp. Never talked about it.

      Your uncle was not alone in keeping silent about what he had seen. There are many programmes on television just now featuring camp survivors. Almost without exception they say that for many years they never spoke of their experiences. Now they feel the necessity of speaking out so that in future people cannot say that these atrocities never happened.
